This recipe is easy to make, rich, delicious, and super chocolatey. It is definitely a dessert in itself! Perfect to make and share with others around the holidays or on those cold winter evenings if you are craving a treat.

Ingredients:

  • 3 c 2% milk

  • 4 oz bittersweet chocolate chopped, I used 70% cocoa dark chocolate

  • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1/4c sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Whipped cream for topping

  • Ground cinnamon for topping

Directions:

  1. Add milk and cocoa powder in a blender and mix on low speed to ensure they thoroughly mix.

  2. Pour the mixture into a small pot and add chopped chocolate, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir constantly over low heat until all of the chocolate melts.

  3. Serve in a mug and top with a little whipped cream and cinnamon. Enjoy!
