Homemade Oat Flour Brownies

This recipe is very easy to make, uses only 10 ingredients, the brownies taste super rich, chocolatey, and made with way less sugar than your store-bought ready to eat brownies. Hope you enjoy making these to share with family for a treat!

Servings: 9 brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1 c rolled oats (grind into oat flour with high-speed blender)

  • 1/4 c cocoa powder

  • 1/2 c dark chocolate chips

  • 1/4 c light brown sugar

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 c coconut oil (melted)

  • 1/2 c unsweetened applesauce

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9x9 square baking dish.

  2. Combine all ingredients into a large bowl and mix with a spatula until a batter forms.

  3. Pour batter into baking dish and put in the oven for 20 minutes. Test with a toothpick, it should come out clean. Enjoy!
