Homemade Orange Peel Cleaner🍊
This recipe is a great way to re-use those orange peels instead of throwing them away. This makes a chemical free cleaner that is perfect for wiping down the kitchen! This is a great way to be frugal and save a little bit of money as well.
Supplies:
Quart size jar and lid
Strainer
Glass measuring cup with spout for easy pouring
Empty spray bottle
White vinegar
Orange peels
Essential oils of choice (I like tea tree, orange, and lavender)
Directions:
Fill a quart jar halfway with vinegar and simply add orange peels. As you accumulate more peels, add more vinegar, so they are always covered. It usually takes me a few weeks to fill the jar all the way up.
Once the jar is full, put the strainer over the measuring cup and pour out the liquid. Add any essential oils you want at this point and stir. Pour the homemade cleaner into the empty spray bottle and dilute with a little bit of water. That's it! A simple and easy recipe, and best of all, you know exactly what is in it! Enjoy!
