Homemade Taco Seasoning 🌮

I started making my own taco seasoning to save money and customize the level of spiciness. I buy all of my spices in bulk either from Amazon or Gordon Food Service. This recipe will make enough seasoning to fill a quarter-pint, 4 oz ball jar.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp onion powder

  • 2 Tbsp garlic powder

  • 2 Tbsp oregano

  • 1 Tbsp smoked paprika

  • 1 Tbsp ground cumin

  • 1/2 Tbsp crushed red pepper

  • 1/2 Tbsp chili powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Directions:

Mix ingredients in a bowl then add to quarter-pint jar. Store the jar in a cool, dark place. Use 2 Tbsp per pound of meat. After meat is browned, add homemade seasoning and a little bit of water. Enjoy!
